A Simply Splendid Event

Melody did a PHENOMENAL job helping us plan our wedding. She took our general ideas and helped bring those to life. She was willing to work with us in a way that helped us work efficiently-- if we needed just a general suggestion or timeline, she provided it, but when we needed a specific timetable and list of projects to finish and when, she delivered! She helped make the planning process so much less stressful.She also coordinated the wedding itself-- and phenomenal doesn't even begin to describe the job she did there. The ceremony was going to be outside, but the weather changed fast to a heavy hailstorm, and there was no way we were going to be able to have a ceremony out there. In a short amount of time, Melody restructured our ceremony to take place in our reception venue, and the results were more than I could have hoped for. Her help is absolutely invaluable. If you are getting ready to plan a wedding, I would highly recommend that you enlist Melody to help you through the process. Whether you need a sounding board for ideas or someone who can help you get down to the nitty gritty, Melody can help make your special day even more remarkable.

Melody Holland of A Simply Splendid Event is absolutely wonderful. I received so many compliments on how well the entire wedding flowed without a hitch. I had to let them know it is because of Melody. It was hard to sit inside all day (getting pampered) not knowing what was going on or not being able to help but I knew Melody had it covered. She never had to bother me with little details or ask for my permission every time a decision was needed. This is due to Melody getting to know me and my now husband and figuring out what we were passionate about and our personalities. Although I hired her as a day of coordinator she was there to help with any questions, problems or ideas throughout the wedding planning process. All my married friends warned me how quick the day goes by and the most important thing is to enjoy your big day. I am glad I listened to my friends and found Melody! My wedding day was amazing, not stressful, fun and I got to enjoy every moment of my day because of Melody. Plus I had the prettiest bouquet ever made by Melody.

The only way my fantastic wedding came off without a hitch was through all the hard work and planning provided by Melody. I don't know what I would have done if not for her. EXCELLENT service!

Melody and Simply Splendid Events was fantastic to work with! She is incredibly friendly and personal while carrying on in a very professional manner. Melody focuses on what the customer wants for their event (in my case, a wedding), rather than produce a run-of-the-mill production, she finds what is unique about the party thrower/couple and grasps onto that as she facilitates planning and helps in the brainstorming process. So wonderful, I would absolutely recommend Melody to anyone!

Melody was absolutely fantastic. We had a few specific--and unusual--requests for our wedding, and Melody came through 100%. She really seemed to appreciate our vision and wanted to make it happen--which she did! I would recommend her whole-heartedly to anyone planning a wedding near Reno.

I would like to take a minute to share my experience with Simply Splendid Events. I have never met such a person with everything you could ever ask for in a person professional, polite, organized, willingness and on time for everything. There is nothing more that a bride could ask for. My wedding was a destination wedding and I was so freaked out about how I was going to be able to coordinate thing from such a distance . Well Melody Holland (Simply Splendid Events) took all those worries from me and made me feel at ease that things were going to be perfect. There were some things that I didn’t want to handle just because I didn’t know how to. My words to her was, “you do and send me an invoice”. There was not hassle she did it and did it with pride. I did not have Melody plan my wedding personally but I have worked with her as her florist for several weddings. My working experience with Melody's wedding planning has been nothing but very professional. She is very knowledgeable on wedding planning and her attention to detail is fantastic. The weddings that she has planned have each had a unique quality to them and are not duplicate plans. If you choose to use Melody as your wedding planner you will not be sorry.
