Mountain Weddings
From distinctive reception sites to lodging, “after glow” brunches and on-mountain activities for the whole family, Northstar® Resort offers a variety of mountain adventures to keep guests engaged for a day or weekend wedding celebration. Northstar Resort also offers personal wedding planners to help coordinate all aspects of the ceremony, reception or multi-day event. Special wedding packages begin at $1,900 for a memorable mountain wedding.
Northstar Resort offers a variety of outdoor locations for wedding ceremonies and receptions. The tented Overlook Pavilion provides the perfect outdoor setting above the Village at Northstar™. The Pavilion can accommodate parties ranging from 75 to 300 guests. Other great outdoor locations at the resort include the Martis Valley Grille located on the Golf Course at Northstar Resort. The Grille offers stunning views of the Martis Valley and surrounding mountain peaks. This location provides a picturesque setting for an outdoor ceremony and reception. The Martis Valley Grille can accommodate wedding parties of 30 to 75 people.
A great on-mountain, indoor and outdoor wedding site is the Lodge at Big Springs located at the top of the Gondola. Guests are transported via Gondola or bus to the resort’s mid-mountain lodge. Outdoor ceremonies can be performed in a variety of locations and expansive indoor seating also is available for up to 125 people. Distinctive touches such as s’mores kits around the fire pits at Lodge at Big Springs can be added to make each couple’s celebration even more unique.
The Village at Northstar provides a variety of indoor settings for weddings and receptions including the new Copper Lane banquet rooms. Floor to ceiling windows face the Village and all doors open up to the outside. The newly renovated banquet rooms may be used individually or joined together to accommodate groups of 30 to 130 people. New fine linen draping also is available to customize the look and feel of the events taking place in the Copper Lane rooms.
TC’s Pub also provides an alternative location for wedding celebrations. The location offers an elegant yet rustic indoor location to accentuate the mountain-feel of the surrounding Village. The Pub is available for weddings year-round of up to 140 people.
Northstar Resort’s personal wedding planners are available to help create the day of every bride’s dreams. They can coordinate with the numerous on-site food and beverage locations to create distinctive culinary presentations from sushi trays to elegant, gourmet meals. They will help couples select the perfect place settings, menus, wine pairing and they take the day-of coordination out of the couple’s hands to ensure all elements of the day are effortlessly orchestrated.
