Kim is a seasoned destination wedding photographer who has photographed weddings from the upper East side of NY, to the caves of Sonoma County Vineyards, to the beaches of San Francisco and Castle walls of Greystone, to the Culinary Institute of America. 

 

Kim's background in fashion editorial has created a photography style that is a mix of fashion and artistic photojournalism. She shoots as a photojournalist and edits as an artist. Kim was an editorial model in New York and Paris with Elite. As a model agent in San Francisco she developed model portfolios with an editorial feel. As an artist she has mastered her artistic eye to create a calm and enjoyable method encapsulating the spirit of her subject's essence and beauty. Years on the set, Kim understands how to guide her subjects to bring their best looks to the camera.     

 

She creates a trusting rapport with each of her subjects to accomplish this goal. She is very much on the hunt for the intimate connection with the camera; believing this creates the most powerful of photographs. Her experience in front of the camera, working with many world renowned photographers and editing thousands of frames of film over a decade has provided her with priceless experience and expertise. She deeply understands the camera only sees the truth of the moment. 

 

Kim is a member of the very exclusive Artistic Guild of the Wedding Photojournalist Association, AG|WPJA, which accepts less than 5 percent of the photographers worldwide who apply.
