Avalanche Violin and Guitar specializes in performing elegant, acoustic live music for weddings in the Truckee~Lake Tahoe area of the Sierras, the San Francisco Bay area, the Napa and Sonoma Valley Wineries and for special destinations by request. The blending of the strings of the violin and guitar creates the perfect ambience for guests of all ages to enjoy. Avalanche’s classically trained professional musicians Liz and Don have played at more than 600 weddings together. Avalanche provides conversation friendly background music in several styles including Classical, Jazz, Broadway, Bluegrass/Celtic and Popular Rock (the Beatles, Jason Mraz, Jack Johnson and more).
